Downloaded it, installed it, tried it. Nice impression of speed while
going at 230 down the straights. But is it just me, or is something
very wrong with the corners ? It looks like they turn in a little bit
before the banking starts, and doesn't at all look like the corners in
N4.

Here you go:

speed = 3600 / time x 2.5

or more generically for use with other tracks:

speed = 3600 / time x lap length in miles

So, your speed was:

3600 / 41.556 x 2.5 = 216.57 mph

If you are looking for a certain mph goal, and want to know what time
you'd need, then use this equation:

time = 3600 x lap length / speed

So, for a goal of, say, 220 mph, it would look like this:

3600 x 2.5 / 220 = 40.91 seconds.

Lower your wings to the minimum angle and you should be able to break
220. :-)

  Alrighty then...using the supplied calculations with a Reynard Honda I hit
224.997...so I'll make the race just won't be near the front..hehehe

ps..that was using a little bit of the apron on turns one and three, left
sides just crossing the white line.  (it's an old TPTCC touring car league
rule ..two tires always ontrack)...wonder how the IRLer's police that line
these days???
