Before you all start the blame game, remember everyone is driving on
thier own version of the track with a delayed indicator of where your
opponents are.

Most of the time racing accidents are caused by the network, not the
drivers.

Where you see a car at may not be where he really is.

A classic example is entering a turn, you are going forward 200 mph but
to the left say 5 mph.  If just after you start your turn you notice a
car on the inside, so you hold your line.  The net being the monster
that it is decides this is a perfect time to lag.

The inside car sees you coming down on him then doesn't get any more
data about your location for a while.  His computer has to predict where
you are going to be.  Based on the last known direction (200 forward 5
left) his computer calculates that you are dropping down to the white
line and right into the side of his car.

He spins out, you continue without any effect. (Your computer knows you
didn't go low so there wasn't any contact in your computer's opinion)

Next thing you know, he's calling you all kinds of profanity because YOU
ruined his race.

I'm not saying ALL accidents are net related, but read between the lines
before you start blaming someone for something they in fact didn't do.

If you spin, and they keep going as if they didn't feel the contact, it
was probably a net thing.

In a questionable incident it is helpful to review the replay before letting
all sorts of vile filth like "Your mama***s gummie bears" or the like. If the
car you had "contact" with shows no change or even an increase in speed during
the "incident", at least 9 out of 10 times this was a warp...and the only fault
that could possibly be assessed is not giving enough room on the low side to
allow for this possibility. Usually the car on the low side will continue
unobstructed as the car in the high groove gets a healthy meal of concrete
pizza.
