I've tried GP2 with no steering help and a joystick and it's still pretty crappy
(not as good as ICR2 but better than F1GP). What's it like with a wheel and no
steering help, any good?

How can I say...delicious, delovely, delectable, divine :)

Cheers!
John

PS - Sorry to Dee-Lite for nicking their lyrics!
PPS - It is really good by the way, if you like ICR2 then you'll love
it. A wheel MAKES the game.

I use a joystick with no steering help and think it feels pretty good -
better than ICR2. You can really feel when one of your tyres starts to
lose grip and catch it just before you spin (which is quite often for
me!)

The only help I have set up at all is a reduced sensitivity setting of
only 10% on the steering progression?? rate.  This makes it perfect,
and realistic and wonderful, and eliminates the slight nervousness of
the steering in "full realistic mode" with no help.  I think the
nervousness I am experiencing is due to the quality of the
Thrustmaster T1 potentiometers.  They are good but not great anymore.

Not too good.
