No, it was something that NASCAR.com did. I happened to catch the
"death" article a minute or two after it had been posted, when I
reloaded the page. When I again reloaded a few minutes later to see if
there was any update, the article was gone...in it's place was the old
"injured" article - but this time with a later timestamp. I was in a
couple of chat rooms at the time, and a number of people saw the same
thing. I don't know why NASCAR.com pulled the article, but I'd suspect
some editor jumped the gun...
