GPL Dedicated Server and Lap Tweaking

Is it possible to change the number of laps, on a dedicated server, for the
various modes? I have tried the racelength utility, which works fine for
single player, but have had no success finding any information on this for a
dedicated server. My goal is to host realistic damage models, but with
shorter races than Pro Short.

Thanks for any help,
Sammie

The only race length info is the full Grand Prix length, everything else
is calculated by gpl to be some fraction of that. If you want to make a
'short' race shorter, decrease the length of the full GP race until you
get the number of laps you want when you choose a short race. If you
want realistic damage, just set the full GP race length to the number of
laps you want & choose a Full GP race.

Thanks for the reply Malc. I am running the server off of VROC already, and
in dedicated server mode, VROC does not give an option to adjust the race
length. Which file would I adjust to change the laps? I tried using the
season .ini files, but it did not affect the race length.

Thanks,
Sammie

Nevermind.. I got it to work by editing both season.ini files. Thanks again.

The only one you *really* need to change is 67season.ini.  The other file deals
with an offline championship season, IIRC.
