I had it set for 'manual data rates'(as someone else suggested).  I'm not sure
what that means, though - could you explain a bit more?  The server is on a T1
line, if that matters...
We had about 15 cars at one time, but a couple left right before qual.  We
started with about 13.  I've had 16 or 17 before.

I think it should be set for "forced data rates" with the client and host
rates set to 14, that's what most people are using for F1C.

When you host in F1rst2 the data rate box is in the room tab, on the bottom
right.

I had an interesting race, gaining three spots on the first
lap, leaving me in third until the pit stop. I entered the pits
and had to quit because of family business 8-(

cheers,

uwe

You don't get warning messages, but you will hear a "paper
tearing" sound when someone leaves. Also, the in-car position
view count will be reduced by one.

Cheers,

uwe

Ok, I'll try that.  It's the first I heard about that setting.
I'll have a couple of open test races up today.

Hmm...  Ok, that doesn't explain the invisiblity that a couple of drivers
faced.  I'll try another race test.  Look for it in about 5 minutes - let's see
how many drivers can connect and race.  Let me know what problems(if any) that
you run into.
