It's now been hijacked back to its rightful home in Ontario, Canada. It's alive
and well in a full tower case in my studio. Send American $$$ or I'll start
returning it a piece at a time. 8^)

The only ways Canadians are embarassing are: 1) thinking ice hockey is a sport,
and 2) repeatedly using the expression "chump change" without realising that
hardly anyone this side of the pond knows what you're on about ;-)

Ummm, Mr. Stiff, if you go back through the thread I think you'll find that
it wasn't I who was confused....it was Mr. Hovercraft.

Ontario Motor Speedway is in Ontario CA....that's CALIFORNIA, you Canadian!
:P

California Motor Speedway is right next to the old site, in Fontana....

Like I keep telling my pro-Canada friend, there's nothing good left in
Canada...we've gotten everything good out of there...Tom Green...Pamela
Anderson (or so I've heard)...well, can't think of much else :)

And you can take a look at what's left of the actual track, I think just
a piece of banking and one of the signs, that now refers to a business
park or some such thing.  Most of the area is now an outlet mall and
some light industry warehouses.

It is interesting that the new California speedway is just a couple
miles away, and built on the site of an old steel mill.  Kinda going in
the opposite direction from OMS.

Anyone know where exactly the Riverside Speedway was?  I think it was
Moreno Valley, but don't know exactly where, maybe there are no visible
pieces of it left.

The sign for Riverside International is still visible from the freeway as
you pass by...kinda sad really.
