The short time that I did have online with 1.2 impressed me, but if I can't
get into races in the first place...

I noticed lots of folks were getting blank race lists.  Anyone found any
workarounds for this yet?

We have to remember that it is a BETA version and that improvements are in
the works.

I hope that the sugestion of switching between the vroc tab and the address
list and then back works for you.  I had 2 SRM league races yesterday and
1.2 allows much closer racing; even the occasional touching of the wheels
does'nt send you flying to Mars. ( sorry JimmyBo =:-D )

I wonder what bandwidth the vroc server demands... Notice that the lacking list
coincides with the fact that internet usage in US is taking off in the
pre-christmas months...

I think we could use several vroc servers, one on each continent?

Nope.  I tried this for about half an hour on Sunday, but no joy.
Eventually gave up and left it for a couple of hours.  When I came back
everything was fine.

Must say that I've been online 4 times since the new GSB and this
problem only appeared once.  Every other time things worked fine.

Thanks for the help.  It would appear that some of my post's aren't
appearing, so I'll just re-type.  It seems that the problems I had on the
Saturday were a one-off.  Maybe there were just too many people trying to get
a blast of 1.2 at that time.  I've had no problems and some superb races
since.
