Need help w/ F1GP editor

I just got the F1GP editor over the weekend, ran the utility to unpack the
gp.exe file and when I try the f1ed gp.exe command, all I get is a message
to the effect that the editor will only work with a 14k file.  Does anyone
know what I am doing wrong with this puppy and how to get it to work?
