rec.autos.simulators

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get the Thrustmaster T1 to
work with Need For Speed.
I have Nascar Racing and Indycar2 and don't seem to have any problems
with these simulators, but Need For Speed will not recognize the gas and
brake pedals of my T1 (Steering and shifting are fine though).

I would appreciate any advise anyone could give me.

Thrustmaster has a little adaptor you can put in between your T1
connector and your computer port which will take the wiring from 2
joysticks into one.  Contact them and they will send one to you.

Well NFS exhibits the same problem with the T2 - with, or without the adapter.
The pedals just don't work :(      HELP!!!!

NFS says on the box that it supports the Thrustmaster. I would like to use it!

***Make sure you use the Adapter.

1. Game Options
2. Control Setup
3. Click on steering until joystick appears on right side of screen.  Do the same for acceleration and shifting.
4. Click on Calibrate.
5. Move T1 through full movement. After T1 has gone through full movement hit the shifter up once.
6. Click on Done.
