I need to jump on this thread. My problem is the CD locks up the
machine on insertion, in my HP Superstore 7200i. I have rigged up an
8x spin reader from another machine to install the game, but I need to
put that back, and until I can figure a way of putting in the CD
without a total machine freeze, or use the game w/o it looking for the
CD, looks like Net games are the only thing available.
Which aint so bad. :)
PS I tried to locate lib.cfg, from ..\GPL> dir lib.cfg /s found no
results, and there were no .cfg's at all on the CD.
Thanks,

I don't but I had to swap out my x24 Creative drive (which has always been
a PITA) and put in my ancient x4 drive because of software checks. Too
much software asks for the CD these days and by the time my x24 spins up,
the software's given up or crashed or just got thoroughly confused!
CD protection? I love it! Though not *quite* as much as drug dealers,
***roaches in my salad, or wall to wall Opr-a-likes on the TV.
