The Le Mans track is a tough one because it is so much bigger than what
the sim builders started with. So much of your system memory is filled up
just loading the track. first make sure you have the newest version of le
Mans, the dload should be one file not four like the first version. 2nd.
try and lower the track detail AND car detail. 3rd. Don't use the fancy
High Polygon cars. I've found the bone stock cars use less memory...but who
wants to race them? I have 256mb of system memory and 7 or 8 is my max as
well, Bumping to 512 couldn't hurt.
this site will list how many cars each track is capable of handling...i.e.
the # of cars before pit problems or memory problems arise.

I'm stumped, but I'll ask for a little clarification....you can't get
more than 20 because it crashes or won't load the track or you start in an
odd position.???
