yeah, but hell that could just be turned in, like Ghost replay laps...  load
your competition.  It would be good enough in this format, but they should
include Rallycross, IMHO.

did you guys see this link?
http://www.racesimcentral.net/;about the next Xbox?
why the hell dont they make them more like a PC Almost replacement box?

I guess I'll wait until September for the PC release: it's less than two
months away.  Probably better that way.  It looks like this is the kind of
game that begs for a wheel, more commonly called a wheel-begger.  :)

Yeah, definitely easier to control with a wheel but it's not unplayable with
the xbox controller like some reviewers are suggesting - you just need to
use a light touch with the throttle finger.  The temptation with console
games is to squeeze the trigger fully and not let go.  Most people are
conditioned to do this by other inferior games and I think that's where
they're having trouble.   Anyone who's good at Project Gotham (which
requires skilful throttle control) won't have too much trouble handling RBR.

The brake is a lot more of a problem than the throttle.  Feeling when
the car is skidding is impossible, so you need to use other cues to
help you.

I find that I'm using cadence braking quite a bit to avoid wheel lock...

I've made a video of the xbox version.  Hopefully this gives an insight into
how the game drives a little better than the 'official' videos that have
been released.  (Excuse the over-cautious driving - it's the best I can do
without a steering wheel at this stage!)

This video is only 3mins but it runs at 50fps to give an idea of how snappy
the handling is.

Yes, the music in the replays is pretty average....not sure if there's a way
to turn it off.

There's no music in-game though thankfully.

Let's hope they don't dumb-down the PC version in response to this.  They
should, however, do as GTR is and have an arcade mode.

The PC version is on the left.
