I just picked this up in the bargain bin at Caldors, and was very
surprised with it's quality. It isn't a sim with the configurability
of NASCAR or GP2, but I'd still call it a sim. And it has amazingly
good scenery. For under $15 (as I bought it), it shouldn't be passed
up by anyone in to racing sims.
Problem is, it appears to need a *very* powerful computer to use. This
surprised me, as it is over a year old. Forget using a 486-> on my
486dx-100, I must run it VGA in a 5-by-3 inch window!
Also, I've *never* seen load times like this thing has. Not even
Origin's Apache Longbow helicopter sim spent this long chugging away
at the CD. We're talking nearly 5 minutes.... I'm wondering if my CD
drive is screwy.
