Has any1 got GPL to work with win98, if so how

I have been able to get GPL to work finally. But only if i set the default
options.ini to read only. This sucks tho, because i only get software
rendering, and haveto change my options every time i play it. if i dont do
that the game wont load at all. Any help would be appreciated.

You can edit options.ini to make it use the 3dfx in this line

lastRasterizerDLL = rast3dfx.dll

I also have to leave options.ini read only
