Some good points, but NEVER make me use the mouse while sitting in the
car!

You're right!  It should definately be something you could assign to a wheel
button, or a key on the keyboard.

My Bro in Law just got back from COMDEX in Vegas, and he said the teaser for
N2000 was stunning.  He said he sat and watched the demo tape (which was all
3D, as if taken from replays on a 3dfx system) a dozen times.  This from
someone who isn't a Nascar fan, and doesn't like racing sims.  He told me
about it because he knows I'm a fanatic.  I don't think anyone will be
disappointed.

The one thing that concerns me with Nascar 2000, going by
GPL, is the need for tons of CPU horsepower to run it
effectively. I'm afraid to even consider up grading my P166mmx
Voodoo 2 12 meg to a PII 400 until I can be sure it will cut
the cheese. As it stands in GPL it's the AI physics engine
that is killing the CPU. N2000 will have double the AI field
racing.
I would sooner have the "players"  car with the GPL physics
but a lesser AI physics engine in order keep save on CPU.

At the end of the day N2000 sounds like it gonna be killer
sim.
