Ok, takes about 15 secs to coast from 161km/h (100mph) in 5th gear to a
stop, after which you can shift down to 1st and drive away. Slightly
unrealistic as the car should either not stop (keep running on idle) or
stall out, obviously. Does seem rather fast, I must agree. In absense of any
data on the real life counterparts of these things, I'm inclined to give the
game the benifit of the doubt as I imagine the engines in Super Tourers
won't have much in the way of a flywheel. Therefore, and because of
downforce generating bodywork, they will not coast as well as the average
road car. Which, incidentally, doesn't coast at all well from high rpm in a
low gear.
My setup: TM NasPro pedals (converted to bungee/squash ball instead of
springs) wired to LWFF USB, configured with split axis. Never been an MSFF
owner, nor do I know one who also owns the game, so I'm afraid you're sort
of on your own there.
