Hint for the brabham setup: reduce front roll bar values, it's much more
driveable that way (at least for me). Alis Brabham setups were still
essentially low-rider when she created them.

Mosport. Even though I suck at it. ;-)

Car - Ferrari, Track - Rouen.  I'm gonna keep getting killed by Lotui
and Eagles, but I just love that car, and Rouen keeps you on your toes
every second.

My Fave is the Ferrari with Alison's setups - i just wish i knew enough
about setups to remove that ***y understeer!!!  I am a more  oversteer
than understeer driver....

Fav Track - Rouen (thank god they put it in!!!)
fav track 2 - Ring - nuff said.
fav track 3 - Mexico
worst track - Kyalmi i hate it!!

Favorite track - Nurburgring.  It reminds me of driving around in the
mountains of east Tennessee, and when you really hook up with the track
it is like a symphony (with a couple of noteworthy "gotcha" corners!).

Favorite car - Lotus if I want to be super-competitive and feel good
enough to really work hard at racing; Ferrari with setup based on
Alison Hine's for really enjoyable racing on any track. (The Lotus is a
tough beast to tame at the Ring).

Every suspension and tire setting will change oversteer/understeer to a
degree, but the easiest one to change is the rollbars.  Shocks are mainly
used for the start and end of a turn.  Rollbars are used for the middle of a
turn.  I use Monza to get a general setup for shocks and rollbars then tweak
it for other tracks.

When the front rollbar is stiffer than the rear you will get understeer.
When the rear rollbar is stiffer than the front you will get oversteer (well
except for the Murasama which has a very well planted rear end!)

I keep my roll bars fairly even but decrease the front by 1 notch and/or
increase the rear by 1 notch to remove unwanted understeer.

I also had lotsa trouble keeping the Lotus on the track at the Ring until i
started using the default setup that comes with the 1.1 patch. It's made a
huge difference for me, and i even managed my first pro-long race win using
it last night.

What is your personal best at Monza? Although I prefer the Brabham
on ever other track I have yet to break the 1:30 at this venue.

Uwe
