Yes, I've had to apologize to my MS wheel for all the *** things I've said
about her over the years. ;) As it turns out, I should have RTFM!

On the downside, I've just gained about 2 seconds on each track I've tried
so far with the new setup. It's going to take a little getting used to, but
best to do it now while I've still got lots to learn. hcp= ~499.

Actlabs Force RS also enables split axis pedals via a tick box in the
controller properties in control panel>game controllers

I've been able to get the times down to 1:35 in the first day after
splitting the peddles. The car was always unsettled when going from gas to
brakes before. Looks like I'm finally on my way.

That's great! Hm, if I go split pedals maybe I can do a 1:26 after
all... Yeah right... <sigh> ;-)

I think it might have been a driving style thing with me, so that's why I
was able to get such a big boost from this change. Others have said that
splitting the pedals is only worth an 1/10th here or there, that might
indeed be the case with them because they may have already gotten driving
style right prior to making this adjustment.
