I've got the CH ProPedals and recently got a TM GP1 for it. The pedals
use joystick #2 x & y axes (when in car pedal mode) and the wheel uses
joy#1 x axis for steering and joy#1 y axis for the two behind-the-wheel
paddles which are meant to be for brake and accel function). I plug the
wheel into the pedal plug, then plug the pedals into the game card. I
then confiure the game (WC F1 GP2) to use the pedals for brake/accel and
the wheel for steering. As long as your game(s) can be configured to use
either joystick and both axes for brake/accel, the setup should be
fine. F1 GP2 doesn't allow me to use the paddles as gear change levers
(like in a real F1 car) as it wants a button press for gear changes (the
two wheel mounted buttons can be used, but I'd prefer the levers). I'm
going to rig up a hack-up on my TM WCSII so that is accepts joy#1 y-axis
input as the "HAT" input...then I can prog the HAT function to send
keyboard codes to the computer when I move the paddles...giving me the
gear changes :-)

I owned the GP1 which I used with CH Pedals.
I then purchased the new CH Racing Wheel and instantly sold my GP1
I have to say that the CH Racing Wheel is really good. In my
opinion it is leagues better than the GP1.
The steering control is much more precise than GP1 and the
wheels range of travel gives excellent results in a whole
variety of DOS and Win95 games (This was a problem on GP1).
The option of using behind the wheel buttons for shifting
is lightning quick (almost like a subconcious brain link).
The only thing which some (Not I) like on the GP1 is the
traditional thrustmaster wheel resistance. The CH has very
little (if any) resistance. I personally prefer no resistance
but this is an individual preference thingy.
My advice - Get the CH you won't regret it for a minute.
BTW I also tried the TM Nascar Pro. The wheel was a distinct
improvement over the GP1 (Less travel and tracks almost as
well as CH wheel), but the pedals were a joke (unusable).
CH Pedals really do beat everything else out there (Even
though they don't really look like auto pedals).
I hope this helps you.
