Logitech Wingman profiler workaround (spring + damping)

I mailed Wingmanteam 10 days ago about the missing damping/spring effect
features in the profiler software. The thing is, you can set the damping and
spring effect strenght in the *global* device settings, but not in the
*specific* game settings. This obviously means that if you want these
effects to have different values for different games, you have to change
them at global device-level every time. I've just received an answer from
Wingmanteam about a workaround for this problem, and they pointed me to this
thread:

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Apparently, you can export a specific profile to a *.wgp file. If you open
this file with notepad, you can change all the settings you want, including
spring effect and damping. You can edit this file to your liking, delete the
old profile from within the Wingman software, and import the edited file as
a new profile.

Below you see some of the values in the *.wgp file. FFspringGain and
FFDamperGain are the ones missing from the specific game settings screen.
__

FFSettings=1
FFMainGain=100
FFSpringGain=0
FFDamperGain=0
FFPersistentSpring=1
FFPersistentSpringGain=20
PedalSettings=0
CombinePedals=1
__

They're aware of the problem, so it would surprise me if they won't fix it
sometime soon.
