GP3 addon and GP4

Just been to EB and they say GP3 addon is definitely out on Sept 7 in UK.
They also have GP4 on their 'in the next 2-3 months' list.  What is in GP4
that's different?

I don't believe that GP4 will be released in 2-3 months. Last I heard was
Spring 2002 and that is probably unrealistic as well. GP4 will have a
totally new graphics engine and hopefully more accurate tracks (GPS).

I would like to see unlocked FPS graphics engine + some decent network code
and I would be happy :)

Beware- popup ads galore.  Doesn't work right with Netscape either. :-/

Yup, that'd be good too. I'm constantly amazed that you can get
slow-downs on a 100 MBIT LAN.

I find that AdSubtract Pro is an excellent tool to get rid of the irritating
pop-ups, cookies, etc.

Thank you UF, The update on the page says June 24, 2001. So is
this new information or just old re-hashed? Anyone?  -Thom_j.
