I'm not sure the 'real' thing is to lift on upshift. AFAIK,
some(most?) of the GT cars use either sequential gearboxes or
"dog-boxes" with ignition-breakers. So even if it's an H-gate gearbox
you jam those gears in at full throttle. Looks fairly brutal from
in-car footage.

It's pretty common in both in rallying and touringcars to use
"dogboxes" where the regulations allow.

   I got to thinking about this.  THere are at least a couple of variables
that may come into play.  Last night I joined one of IanTTak's sessions and
didn't seem to have to blip.(mine is set to pro not amatuer)  But when I
was running laps with Cesaere and the VMS boys, then I definately had to
blip.  So does the Host setting affect the clients?  And what about the
auto-clutch option, does that operate independantly of the pro/amatuer
toggle?
