Racing Sim Graphics

I'm having a problem with all of my racing sims that I need your help with.
I've come to notice that when racing in any of my sims that when I make
turns or any lateral movement, even on a straight section, that all the of
the backround graphics as well as the cars in front of me get really blurry.
By blurry I mean all of the adverti***ts get blurred and even the writing
on the back of the cars gets blurred. This occurs in sims such as GPL,
TOCA2, Nascar3, MGPRS2, SCGT, GP500 and many others using Glide or D3D. Good
example is in TOCA2 when coming up to a corner and reading the barking
distance markers and when staring to turn in they get completely blurry. I'm
running with a PIII600 and thus far I'm not having any frame rate issues as
in the games where it's displayed it's not dropping.

I've tried tinkering with the following items:

resolution, refresh rates, graphic settings within the sims and even running
with 2 different video cards (TNT2 Ultra & Voodoo2 SLI)

Is this normal, by design, or have I got a problem?

Thanks,

Sal V.
