I just downloaded the newest NetKar beta and it seems very slow and
lagging on my system. I updated my video drivers, but it didn't help.
I am running it on a fast machine, and while running NR2003 I can
usually get 40+ fps. Any ideas?
I should ask for more "specs" as to why you think your machine is "fast"...
and I am being honest. You say the newest NetKar beta (that is netkar
namie.99) or have I missed a new release? If so, you do understand that it
is 100% direct X written software, right? I run this game a lot too, when I
need a break from NR2003... <G>
In NR2003, with Hires addons and carsets, I get 60-90 fps (online), but with
a couple of the eyecandy details turned down a little, & at 1024x768, yet I
sure dont call my machine "fast"... For comparison, my middle of the road
machine is...
P4 2.4 ghz
(on an older motherboard that supports both pc133 & newer ram and only up to
500 mhz buss.)
512 of the newer stuff.
Geforce 4 TI4600 w/128 meg mem.
