netkar and TSW?

Hi folks,

I'm currently downloading netkar plus all the patches and I
wondered if this game has any issues with TSW wheels set up for
split axis mode? Anything I should have to look out for?

cheers & TIA,

Uwe

I installed it last night and it had issues with the split axis
mode. It seems that the slightest touch of the brake pedal sets
the brake pressure to about half way, and it stays there until
I press the pedal down entirely and quickly release it.

Also, I had to tweak the ini file that contains the axis and
buttons assignments, and reverse the signs for the brake axis
to go from 1 to -1.

Apart from that the sim looks good, esp. the simulation of a
flatspotted tyre! I think this one is a definite first with any
sim I have tried.

Cheers & kudos to the developers for this one. Keep up the good
work!

All of these have been solved by setting the axis to "combined +"
for the brake pedal *only*. I have no idea why this works now,
but I can leave gas on split and have brakes on combined and it
still works ;-)

Anyway, it really is a nice simulation, esp. when you try it on
a circuit you already know. I installed Imola and raced around
in the Formula Renault for a while, great fun!

Cheers,
