When driving in the season mode in Grand Prix Legends I noticed that
when the race is over only the drivers that finished the race on the
same lap as the leader got any points. So if a driver would finish
forth, but 3 laps behind the leader, he would not get any points. Is
this a bug?? This game is hard enough, don't tell me that I have to
finish the race on the same lap as the leader to get any points!!??

On a related GPL note don't you hate it when you're doing well in a race

crashes I had because of that. "I'm doing great but OH NO must ignore
it, must concentrate... maybe if I just quickly take a swipe at
it"..... CRASH!!!.

your nose while you can concentrate on more important things...

While playing GPL some more I noticed that sometimes the drivers who finish,
say 5th, will get points in some races and will not in other races
irregardless of how many laps they are behind. So my new question is, why is
it that a driver will get points for finishing in 4th thru 6th in some races
but in other races won't get any points for 4th-6th???

F1 rules at the time said that cars must finish 90% of the race distance to
score points. So if you have a 10 lap race and 6th place finish 2 laps down
he would not get points.

the fact that the season is divided by 2 half seasons and in each season ,
pilots have to eliminate their worst result.

points!!??

The rules from '67 dictated that a driver must complete 90% (if I
recall correctly) of the race distance in order to score any points.
Drivers that did not finish 90% of the laps would not be classified.

Well, THAT sucks. I'll NEVER get any points against the AI in a full race,
then... :-(
