F1RS and TM Sprint

F1RS and TM Sprint

by Toni Lassi » Mon, 08 Mar 1999 04:00:00

I'm trying to tweak F1RS to work better with my TM Sprint, but have
not succeeded. The controls weel jumpy and sometimes a slight
correction to the right will throw the nose of the car sharply like in
an arcade racer. It seems like when I turn the wheel it first doesn't
do anything because of the deadzone, then suddenly power steering
comes and I have to turn back to avoid oversteering.

Has anybody solved this problem or has good setups for a wheel? I have
edited UBI.INI to WHEEL-setting and reduced the DINPUT.DLL deadzone
into 2% but to no avail.

Hello Toni; Please re: to Me!!
I have the exact same problem and havent found an answer
yet either! Also I can't use my 'right paddle' on the steering
wheel for gas! I have to use both "right-left paddles" on the
wheel itself for gas/brake because I am disabled & can not
use my feet!
If anyone sends or you find the answer please forward it to
me!! My 2 favorite sims are GPL & F1RS but I don't race
F1RS right now because of the above problems. Any help
will be really appreciated.. TIA Thom j..
