I get the scrambled palette in nascar2 with my millennium. Has anyone had
and solved this problem? The demo runs fine on my work machine so i think
i have a complete copy.

The machine is

Compaq Deskpro 133
4Mb Millenium (bios 2.2, had same problem with 2.0)
SB16 soundcard
64 Mb ram

I've tried SDD5.3 with no effect.

Thanks in advance

Brian

Hmmm, very strange. I have the Millennium and do not run Display Doctor
and have seen no such problems with with the Nascar2 Demo. I have the 2
meg Wram version of the Matrox.

U had the same frustrating problem here is how I fixed it.This might be
a real stupid way of doing it I don't know. Anyway I downloaded sci-tech
display doctor and installed it. It screwed my pallette in windows up
but the demo worked great. So I unistalled it and deleted all the calls
to in my autoexec file. Now all I do is switch to dos chang the
directory to the on the display doctor is in and type univbe and it
works. Also when I re-start windows my pallette there isn't all screwed
up. Hope this helps

I have the 4 meg version of the Matrox Millenium and it ran
NASCAR 2 demo on my PPro 200 without any color or pallette
problems either, strange indeed.
