I thought it would never happen. I was wrong. Guess N3 sales have
leveled off.
Sierra as a lot of bad will to make up with GPL customers.

Which disgruntled customers?
Certainly not this one, or many others I suppose. I'm still having a
blast with version 1.0.0.0. Put the pacifier back in your mouth, wait
patiently, and perhaps mom will come change your diapers soon.

While you're feeling sorry for yourself concerning Papy's alleged
disdain of their customers' well-being, just consider how much
Microprose has updated GP2 over the years, and consider just how much of
a great game that that turned out to be online. At least Papy updated
IndyCar Racing with 3D acceleration -- something Microblows couldn't be
bothered with. GP2 was a great game when it was released, but it was
never upgraded nor were any of the major faults in the game corrected.
In fact, if it weren't for the considerable talents of a host of
third-party folks, GP2 would have faded into obscurity a long time ago.
I still have the CD, but it's gone from my HD. Without online play,
it's useless to me.
The fact is that Microprose couldn't care less about updating a faulty
product, which is the reason I'm really not all that e***d about the
release of GP3. I think you're going to see little more than a GP2 with
several coats of eye candy slathered onto it. No network or online
play, no advanced physics, no support down the line. What you will get
is the same Hasbro/Microprose hype. Big deal.
No, Papyrus has no bad will from this corner. I'm certainly thankful
every day that I have a game like GPL which'll be still far and away
better than anything else on the market for years to come.
