Set all graphic detail to ON, except for one which you can see all the
time, like car texture, set it to AUTO. Then set your min and max frame
rates to one number apart eg: max at 15, min at 14. Now when you drive watch
the car texture of the cars in front of you, if it's off then your frame rate
is below 14, if its on the rate is above 15. Adjust your min and max frame
rate settings until the car texture is flickering on and off, that is your
real time frame rate. It will vary constantly as you go around the track and
more or less graphic detail is called for, eg: more or less traffic,
grandstands ect ect.
