GLP + BenQ FP71E monitor = clickering display

Hey Guys,
I have just re-installed GPL on my new PC which has a 17" LCD BenQ FP71E
monitor. When the opening screen appears, all looks fine. When you go into
player and team detail screen then all still looks fine. Even going into a
race and driving looks fine (well great actually). Though, when I go into
the replay screen then it stuffs up, does not fit width-wise (as it looks
like everything is stretched horizontally 2x), and also it flickers all the
text (which looks like it's trying to display on top of itself). Selecting a
replay and watching it makes the display back to normal (ie. perfect when
watching the replay), but then getting into any other menus has the same
problem where it's all stretched horizontally 2x the screen width and all
the text flickers.

Has anyone seen this or has any idea of how to fix this?

ps. I'm running Windows XP.

OK, I have resolved the problem. Turns out it had to do with the 2x
anti-aliasing that I had switched on (by default) on my Geforce4 MX440 video
card. I keep in switched on 2x to get nice smooth lines in all D3D games
that I play.

Anyway, if I switch it off (ie. off or 'let software decide') then the
problem would go away in the GPL. Though, I really wanted 2x anti-aliasing
in GPL and after un-installing and installing several versions of the Nvidia
drivers I finally found one that fixes the problem. Oddly enough it does not
seem like this was the latest one, but one from 6/10/2003.

ps. I did not have this problem with my old monitor.
