Wheel help needed !!!!!

Hey RAS racers !

I have had a Thrustmaster (aka TM) sprint wheel for about 6 months and it
constantly needs re-calibrating in N3 and both steering and gas will spike
real easy. Therefore, last week,  I called three mail order houses (and
three  local stores) and it was back-ordered at all of the places I called.

I went on a business trip Friday and dropped in on the CompUSA in Oklahoma
City, They did not have any sprint wheels but they had a "CompUSA" brand
wheel with Paddles (paddles are required) for only $ 29.00 called a "Formula
Racing Wheel"  Therefore, I bought it to use until I can find a TM Sprint
wheel. Anyway, the instructions say to set it up in the Win95/98 control
panel as a "TM Formula T1/T2 with Adapter".It doesn't  have anything to hold
it down except its weight (its heavier than a Sprint/GP1" wheel !  ) and 4
suction cups. It stays pretty steady, but I wanted to know how do you guys
that have a TM T1 and T2 clamp it to the computer stand/desk ?????  I
thought about drilling two holes in it and putting BIG two wall
anchors/bolts  in it to hold
but I wanted to check with those Sim racers still using a TM T1/T2  !!!

Please  email me if anyone has any suggestions to hold it down !!!!!

THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used a Thrustmaster T2 for almost 3 years until I got a MSFF wheel,
and I found the clamps an absolute must. Without them, the suction cups
eventually give way.
