>>>     And how many tapes do all have with movies or tv shows
>>> recorded????? Oh not the same thing you say??? BS! It is
>>>  just as copywritten as half the ***for the PC...and yes I do
>>>  mean crap...look at GPL....that totally sucks moose!!!!

>>>   So unless no one here records televison progs or movies...
>>> I'd slowly back of and disappear from this conversation...and
>>>  anyone says they don't record movies...I'd have to say 89 %
>>> if not more were lying.....something to think about:))

>>>  Regards........Mr.West

>>Dont forget tapes and cd's... and .mp3's too... I'd bet that a lot of
>people
>>that lash out at the warez people (even the ones that just use it as a demo
>>for a game with no demo), have a nice little collection of .mp3s

>>b

>Oh yes, everyone else is a thief so it justifies your stealing.  Nope, no
>MP3's here.  Just because you have a ton next to your warez doesn't mean the
>rest of us do.  For TV shows and movies broadcast into my home, it is 100%
>legal for me to tape them and watch them as much as I want.  I cannot make
>tapes from a Top Gun DVD and sell or distribute them, but I can make 100 of
>'em for my own personal use, same with CD's - I can tape 'em as much as I
>want for my own personal use, but I can't sell or distribute them.

Ecuse ....I don't think anyone is stealing here..look at the thread
my friend..and I don't think anyone called anyone a thief we just said
89% probably have copies of tapes CD's etc...:)

.  Warez are copies that ARE distributed without authorization, so
Oh so it's ok to copy Star Wars even if you didn't buy it...with
out  George Lucas's authorization..hmmmmmm...damn I am confused

There you go again.. I don't copy progs pal..I am making a point
about people who copy the stuff..It don't affect me..so why bother?
Bill Gates don't give a rats *** about whether you defend his
 programs..or the other 100's of company's...you need to re-read
the thread and quote who you are speaking to...:)

Im late but who cares..

Actually I have no interest in *.mp3 files.. I don't like the sound quality
of them (a little bit too much electronic to me). I got still 2 files on my
Zip drive, all legal.

The first one is my vynil disk of the 1977 version of the Star Wars Disco
album by meco (Hit of the summer btw ;-D ).  This is an original disk that
has great value to me, so I want to protect it now. The *.mp3 was the only
solution for me to listen to it.

The second is just a 4mins Formula 1 car sound *.mp3 that I found on
Mr.Boers website. It's not illegal at all.

Actually, many of us just really hate illegal stuff.. (ok you can flame me
about the Indy track on r.a.s. hehe).  Just understand that.
