NFS and CH Pedals

I know you can't use these with NFS, but was wondering if there was a way to
use a standard Y-cable.  Cut it up, and patch the y-axis of Joy 1 into the
pedals?  The y-cable won't let you use all the buttons and things, but all ya
need is x and y axis for NFS anyways.  Please help on this if you can.  I
believe it will work!!!!

If you're talking about the CH Pro Pedals, yes, this is theoretically possible.  I've
dissected my Pro Pedals plus drawn out schematics of where I am (joystick
plus Pro Pedals) and where I want to go.

You're belief that you can hitch the pedals in as the y-axis input should be straight
forward.  If the y-cable carries +5, ground, x-axis, y-axis, and the four joystick buttons, then
as long as you're careful, you should be able to maintain all the buttons as well.

I have enough 15-pin D-sub's to make my y-harness.  However I'd like to use the
accelerator/brake function of the Pro Pedals, not the rudder function.  And on the
Pro Pedals, when you flip the function switch to accelerator/brake, the pedals
become x-axis (forward only) and y-axis (one direction only).  So I have to rewire
the Pro Pedals to get them to be NFS-compatible.

Actually I was talking about the standard pedals from CH, not the pro.  Do you
know where I can get a joystick pin listing?  I  was going to use the
accelerato/brake also.  Have you gotten this to work, or are you in the stages
of getting it to work?
