A true champion never settles for 2nd place. Brilliant.

Fully agreed. Anyone passing Rossi seemed to crash shortly after, Valentino
knew exactly what speed was possible in the wet.

A rain race?  crashes?  geez I guess I'd better shut down the
vcr...already know what happened.
I don't want to scold you all, but I WOULD like to ask for your assistance.
Dang near all of us here are Race fans, and a good race is always a welcome
topic.  BUT.  There are plenty of us who don't get same day coverage, or
don't have the time to watch it live.
A header that included MOTO GP and Spoiler would have been a more
considerate choice. Some users here have even included a blank first message
in a thread so speed readers don't open the next message before realizing it
contains race results.

There is no measure on this man's talent and ability. One of the true
greats. None of his contemporaries, though excellent riders in their own
right, have an answer. Superlatives fail to do justice in some instances.

Dont forget he also have won 50% of his MotoGP races!. Not even M.Schumacher
gets close to that record!.

Did you watch the pre-race "Rossi special" video?.
AWESOME!. That guy had talent already as a kid.
They showed videoclips of Rossi at the age 5-6years maybe, driving a gocart
around rallystyle opposite lock :D
looked great.. and they also showed him when he drove real rallycars, and he
was awesome at Rally Masters, almost as fast as the real WRC-drivers!.

Cant wait for the english rally when he is gonna drive the Peggy 206 WRC :)

Not to mention that Rossi can actually say nice words about his competitors
too. He thought Checa was from another planet, driving that fast :)

omg.. im getting too e***d now.. time to do something else :)

250cc: 30
125cc: 30

Grand Prix victories: 49
500cc/MotoGP: 23
250cc: 14
125cc: 12

Thats 47.5% wins in his all career in MotoGP, and 53.4% in the

motos...wins 24 motos....(too lazy to check the exact number)  Is that the

Never heard of AMA, but how is the competition there?
In MotoGP 500cc/4stroke, its hard competion, not like in F1.
