Those setups were done by the beta testers. The minimum bump ***
was increased to 1" by Mr. Kaemmer for the released game as it was
felt it was not right. This per an interview with Doug Arnao by Randy
McGruder (sp). As I recall, Doug recommended increasing the minimum
to 1.5"....

The setups were done by the beta team on the beta version before
the limit of 1.0 was put in the game. The game will stop you from
setting a bump *** of below 1" but setups which contain that lower
setting from the beta will still remain loadable. Try to change the value
and the game checks the number, realises it is too low and sets it to
the minimum.
I think the limit is placed in the setup screen code but is not checked
when the setups are loaded. By not attempting to edit the bump ***s
you're probably not allowing the program flow to go past the bounding
check.

My question is, does using 0.5" bump ***s cause an unfair advantage?
If so, I would like Papyrus to address this in an upcoming patch, as
I've noticed many of the hot-lap setups are mostly "low-riders".
