Great news, Klaus Horbrand, author of WinMip, fixed the popup problems
in GPL for a number of tracks, especially Noonan's tracks had quite a
lot of pop-up problems.

BTW, Simon Stobbart made popup fixes for some ovals,

When you are making a GPL track you can determine at what distance an
object will become visible. In Noonan's tracks these distances were
rather short, so that trees and other object 'popped up' in front of
you. These fixes solve that.
