As in .....outside ????

Oh the horror of it all, I've tried it a couple of times, but all that
fresh air can't be good for you, I feel so ......"strange" afterwards

You have anything against msrs Laurie and Fry ?

I mean, Jeeves and Wooster, or P.G. Woodehouse as a whole for that
matter is almost as funny as Monty Python, ranks right up there with the
best of them, such as "Black Adder", are they on DVD.....?

<rushes over to www.amazon.co.uk again>

Yes !!!

Nov 12th, guess I'll treat myself for x-mas, can be along cold winter
for all I care.....

Well, the General is played by Stephen Fry, who plays Jeeves, and Lt
whatshisname (not Darling, the other one) is Stephen Laurie, who plays
Wooster

As a connoisseur in fine British humor, I think you'd like them Dave

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/104-5580219-6166343

They also have this, "Black Adder - The Complete Collector's Set"

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005A1SX/qid=1003268797/sr=1...

Bit pricey over at your end though

Do you mean:

General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett - Stephen Fry (plays Jeeves)
Lieutenant The Honourable George Colhurst St. Barleigh - Hugh Laurie (plays
Wooster)

Lol :)
Well.. just to let you all know I'm still quite a normal human being,
ofcourse I didn't cancel the date, we had dinner, went to my place,
opened a bottle of Turkish wine (cheap but oh so good :) and then we
went upstairs.. where I showed her my BRAND NEW LOGITECH MOMO WHEEL!

She didn't like GPL or F1 2001, too hard (no cheap jokes guys) but she
did like the Rally Trophy demo :)

We had a great time :)

In RT, Arcade mode stands for the closed courses where you compete
against AI drivers. Car physics stay the same, only the racing differs.

I've given it a brief drive.  First impressions are good apart from the
complicated controller assignment screen and no support for the Act Labs RS
Shifter.

You should have seen her face when I first said 'let's go upstairs'
and then I showed her my Momo wheel.. I still don't know if it was a
sign of disappointment or utter relief :)

I thought the controller menu was quite effective.. press a button,
then press the option what you want to assign to the button :)

Cool! Short question: how many AI drivers can you compete against, and
how many players maximum online?

Rally Trophy demo is out!

Just tried the demo... wonderfull, fantastic, great, love it (more detail
later, i.e. in the morning), BUT : Force Feedback strenght and Controller
Sensitivity setting "notches" are way too crude. Ideally I'd like to see at
least 2 to 4 times more "resolution" in these settings. If at all possible
it would enhance the experience greatly, IMO. Pretty please?

Cheers and congrats on a great game,

Jan.

My PIII450 with GF2MX runs it very well with some options not at
maximum, I guess most everyone has at least those specs :).
