Prix sounds (from 1966, I think, as it was produced to coincide with
the release of the movie, Grand Prix) It contains: 1. Monologues from
Phil Hill, Graham Hill, and John Frankenheimer. 2. The sounds of the
Repco V8, the Coventry-Climax V8, the V-12 Honda, and the
Cooper-Maserati as they warm up for the Italian GP, plus a recording
made on Mike Parkes' Ferrari as he laps Monza. 3. The start of the
Monaco GP, plus a lap of Monaco in Graham Hill's BRM V8. 4. Sounds from
Spa, plus Jochen Rindt's Cooper through Bourneville and down the Masta
straight. 5. Various sounds from Brands Hatch GP (1966?)
I'm going to get it made into a CD, but it's going to cost me a bundle.
Anyone interested?
