I really love the game but the community really needs some lessons from
GPL. I cant find ANYTHING. I'm honestly totally lost. I managed to grab
Aero88 and the Porsche one just by luck. Where do i get the rest? I dont
even know whats out there.

Where the heck are the Rfactor mods

You might look under your couch at home.  These mods and tracks and skins
are everywhere.  I wouldn't be surprised if Bin Laden had a few hidden
'neath his turban.

Besides behind your couch and in or about terrorist cells, the best place to
go for news and direction is the RSC forums.  But as you say, things are
scattered.  I quit racing rFactor because some of the mods and all the junk
being flung around is a joke (not that I could do any better).

Instead I've gone to GTL, which I think is the better game.  Now, however,
add-on tracks for GTL are being released at an alarming rate, as if someone
had been holding back all along and now decided to open the flood gates.
Most of the tracks for GTL are decently converted.  I just hope someone gets
a-hold of things, keeping everything in control.

If anyone (btw) is interested in some online racing with GTL drop me a line
at

Starting up a friendly, informal league would be fun.

Thanks,

Alanb

GTL certainly is a better game at this point in time but it's nowhere near
as mod friendly as rFactor and most people feel it's netcode isn't as good
as rFactor.  In my opinion there still hasn't been a quality mod released
for rFactor but they're definitely coming.  I don't even bother checking out
a mod unless it creates some serious buzz right throughout the community.
It might take 12 months but there's some truly stunning work on the way...
