Does anyone know how to get the Yamaha OPL3 soundcard to work with
Nascar2 I have tried all the available combinations that have the IRQ-5
and DNA 1 avaialable with the 220----can not get it to work in dos
either. This is on a MBD-AN430TX-A Intel Anchorage Pentium Mainboard
w/Audio

I had the same problem. Look in either your autoexec.bat or your config.sys
file and see what the settings are there i.e.. blaster 220 5 15 and use
those #. My setup uses SoundBlaster Pro Mono, Address 220, 5, DMA 5. I
have the same Soundcard. Let me know if it works
I too have an OL3 Soundcard. I don`t know what Oerating system you are
running, but your autoexec.bat should read:

.
SET BLASTER = A220 I5 D1 T4
C:\OPL3SA\SETUPSA
.
.
.
The setupsa program must be run in your autoexec.bat to configure the card
each time you boot. The settings are then saved to a .ini file so that when
you boot again, the setings are loaded from the file and set. Try putting the
above lines in your autoexec.bat and all should work fine then.

Ya, I had the SAME problem. You can't autodetect, you need to select
"Sound Balster stereo", then manully input the values in the SET
BLASTER line of autoexec.bat. That should work. I got rid of the OPL,
for an AWE64 - sounds much better . . .
