Screenshots for this game have recently been made available at

- The Games Domain Review (6 shots - PC Version)
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

- Psygnosis Web Site (3 shots - Playstation Version)
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

I have made all these screenshots available on my Auto Racing
Web Page at http://www.racesimcentral.net/~sjackson/racing.html

For those unfamiliar with the game ...

"Based on the metal-on-metal world of stock car racing,
Destruction Derby is a high octane hurricane of fender-benders,
dangerous driving and crash- test craziness. Using a unique
games engine,  Destruction Derby replicates, in real time, the
thrills and spills of cause-and-effect impact, with a  realism
that other race games can only dream of. Exploding debris, sparks
and smoke adds to the  authenticity, while the game's `no rules'
approach ensures maximum adrenaline. The last running is the
winner in this battle to the finish, and as your car takes
realistic damage and reacts accordingly, this is the closest you
can get to hit 'n' run racing without risking personal injury. "
   - From the Press Release Hype

The game is planned for release in October 1995, with the
Playstation version also expected around this time.

The next six months look very exciting for us racing fans with a
heap of racing games being released (both Arcade and Simulators)

BTW, my ICR2, F1GP2 and Virtual Kart pages are looking a bit
bare. It takes about 2-3 months for the US and UK mags to come
down under, so I'm missing out on any info these mags are
probably giving. If anyone has anything to contribute please mail
me!

Enjoy!
