GPL League Suggestion

by Darko Juva » Mon, 09 Jul 2001 05:29:03

I'm not fast but my aims are being consistent,  patient and clean driver.
After some bad experiences on VROC, where a lot of people are trying to win
race at first corner or soon as they catch you they'll try to overtake on
first corner with usual havoc, I decided to look for GPL racing league where
I can find people with similar ideas about racing.  My race lap times:
Monza 1.28.50-1.30.00
W. Glen 1.06.50-1.08.00
the rest of tacks are not that good, but I'm working on improving. If you
know any league that I can fit I'll appreciate if you suggest some. I'm on
cable connection and from Vancouver, Canada. On working days able to race
after 7 PM Pacific Time.

This league must have the most detailed Shift-R rules I've ever seen!

Um yeah. I kinda punted the league manager at Watkins Glen so he rewrote the
rules to help prevent such actions in the future...

The rules are pretty complicated but they boil down to "you only have a
couple or less per race so use them wisely"
