There is one thing you have to look out for with the VRaptors and that
is the speed of the memory used. Some early boards (esp. 4MBers) had
only 80Mhz rated memory, while others had 100MHz. I don't think this is
a problem at all with the 8MB boards, esp. the AGP version.
You will find the Rendition-based boards to be somewhat sharper/purer in
color than a 3Dfx board running GPL, and it will work a bit better if
you only have a midlevel CPU. Most beneficial of all is that only the
Rendition cards can run GPL with anti-aliasing enabled.
