Nice run!

My 200.012mph was during a testing session. I'm hoping to run even
faster during a race (in the draft).

Not to dampen but the other night I got into a race were the top two
quals were both over 208!  That just seems unbelievable. . . .

WOW! 208? I can't even reach a top speed of 207.

I guess I have some work ahead of me ;)

I "believe" Ivan is referring to a 200mph lap at 70 degrees and no
drafting help.

Why I myself have run around a 220mph lap... but it was a 40 degrees no
restrictor plate race.

I believe I hit 230mph at Michigan one time... oh wait, that was ICRII...
my bad... ;-)

Ivan... you're doing very well with that 200+ lap, so don't let others get
you down.  You'll be easily running 202-203 laps in the draft!

Congrats on breaking 200!  Now comes the fun part where you start to tweak
settings and even driving style to gain that extra little bit of speed.

Try running several laps until you get down to about 5 gallons of fuel, slap
on some new tires (leave the fuel refill to 5 gallons) and go run some more
laps.  You may start seeing some 201 - 203 lap speeds with the 100 or so
pounds less of fuel onboard.

Good Luck!

I've been playing N3 online at least 4/7 days a week since the game
was released, and even with a temp of 40', there is no way you could
run a 208 qualifying speed without a modification of the game (i.e.
cheating).  Realistically you could run in the 202s, I can't reccall
seeing a 203mph even.  If someone qualified at 208mph at Talladega I
would suspect that person of having a modified game, or some strange
warp issue.

I agree.  At 208, it's too fast for the plate on, no matter what temp.  And
it's too slow for not running the plate.

On Saturday I tried my first N3 online race. It was SOOOO fun.

draft makes a big difference. (and makes it ALOT more tense)

Racing online is a blast! I had no idea it would be this fun.

Oh well, I gotta get back to N3 :)
