gp1 and t2 pedals

Will this work?  I have a t2 now and it works ok, but the wheel is
broken, the case is off the wheel innards and the shift lever is not
there anymore, just a bunch of wires.  I want to get a gp1 wheel, but I
also want to use my pedals which work just fine.  I play cpr icr2 gp2
and hopefully soon F1rs.

It should be possible. When I was looking around on
http://www.thrustmaster.com I read in the General Wheel FAQ's:

"Can I hook up T1/T2 pedals to my GP1 and use the pedals for the gas and
brake?

Yes, if the pedals shipped with a T1/T2 unit which does not have the
converter built into it. The foot pedals will override the gas and brake
paddles on the GP1. The foot pedals will override the gas and brake pedals
on the Grand Prix I if the converter is installed, or if you have a newer
wheel with the converter built into the unit."

I hope it works for you. Good luck.

The GP1 wheel should work with your T2 pedals.  I don't think you will
be able to get the paddles on the back of the GP1 wheel to work unless
you re-wire it though.

I have Gp1 and T2. You just plug it together and it works fine, just
like with original wheel. It's also a good combination for F1RS, where
it's good to have both hands on the wheel.
No extra wiring is needed.

this works in CPR as I used it with my GP1 and a RCS I found it at
http://cart.gamestats.com/index.htm  in archive news. Aloha, Mike

CH Peddles and GP1 Steering Wheel Again
Robert Lortie posted the following configuration for his GP1 steering wheel
and CH Peddles on the APEX message board:

I found a setup that is working very good.
1) In Win 95 game controller setup choose ''Thrustmaster Formula T1/T2
without adapter''
2) Uncheck Poll with interrupts enabled
3) Uncheck ruder pedals
4) In Cart customize controller check swap pedals with no throttle control
5) And finally don't give any car control to any button 3,4,7,8
Have a nice race

This setup does not involve opening the CH Peddles to get it to work.
