Round tires?

I just looked at the GP3 screen shots on www.f1-grandprix3.com/ . Is it just
my wishfull thinking, or are the tires actually round?  Speaking of tires
(tyres in the UK), how do the Aussie's spell them? Same as US but upside
down?  :)

Well, they are usually polygons because curved surfaces are hard to draw and
use a lot of resources. Except in MTM2, where they are actually round.
Haven't you noticed?

In South Africa, they are so,etimes referred to as "Takkies" running shoes
are also called "Takkies".  Being a ex-pat pom I'm not really sure why,
maybe an Afrikaans word or something.

Oh I see what you mean now, "round-round" and not "sort-of round"

I have had a look at the screen shots and yes the tyres in these pics do
have an undeniable roundness about them!
