Thanks a lot for the support you and others are showing for me and the
TSW, it is much apreciated!

You are right, Wise was the *** who flamed the TSW without reason or
ever using one, I emailed him and was polite until he gave me a ration of
shit for no good reason. I purposely emailed him so as not to have it
public in order to see if it could be worked out, obviously this***head
had no intention of keeping his mouth shut in public. I dont normally
participate in flame wars because it is stupid and pointless but this time
I am going to because I'm tired of the bullshit.

There is absolutely no reason to compare the TSW with the CDS, they are
two different products with completely different philosophies behind them,
the CDS is for those with a lot of money and the TSW is for people who
want a good solid product for less, either one will do the job it is made
for but neither is "better" than the other. I doubt that many races are
won because a wheel looks good and I dont spend a lot of time admiring the
looks of my TSW while using it.

There are close to 2000 happy individuals with TSWs and we get 2/4 orders
everyday, so we must be doing something right :)!

anything!!!
You guys MAY wait--but youll love the TSW.

'better' is a matter of opinion.  Everyone has an opinion.  People
come to this group to get other people's opinions.  When someone asks
which wheel is 'better', CDS owners give their opinion, as well as TSW
owners.  As for no reason to compare, well, that is just silly.

The reason this thread was started was because a couple of guys
haven't gotten their wheels that they ordered months ago.  Are you
shipping out 2/4 orders everyday?  If not, then you must be doing
something wrong :)!

I would have to agree with Jay. I didn't see anything derogitory from
Shawn in regards to Trevor or his wheel. I believe that was meant for
Berg. Personally I liked Trevors wheel but when he told me it would be
at least 2-3 months I opted for the ECCI. I'm sure Mr Thomas will live
without my money. As for the ECCI, i got it in less than a week and am
very happy with it.

Re:TSW Service
After ordering my TSW:
I received it when promised.
All questions were answered promptly and courteously.
When I returned the unit for an upgrade, they made every effort to get
it back to me asap.
My experience with the company is one of complete satifaction.

I am contemplating upgrading my controls from the T2 I've had since
Christmas and overhauled a dozen times. Your lack of professionalism and
tact makes my choice much easier. Your product should speak for itself
and your crass defense only cheapens it. Heaven forbid if I had a
problem with a TSW.

I too am a business owner and understand you can't make everyone happy
all the time. Publicly flaming an unhappy critic serves no good purpose
other than delighting your competition. Take a business class and show
some class or a least a little diplomacy.

You know I am in the market for a good wheel, and was really thinking
about a TSW. The I saw Higgy's post
and thought well could be a fluke or something, or something that i dont
about has also entered into the equation that has yet to be put forth in
this thread.

Then Trevor (who I assume is the guy who runs TSW) posts and now I am
REAL curious about WHY higgy aint got what he paid for??????

Hey Trevor as a potential new customer, who also runs a league with some
35 drivers, I think it would be in your (and your companies) best
interest to explain why someone has gotten what they feel is the shaft,
and why this is not the case.....or at least an explanation.

Have you ever heard of TQM? Or the customers always right?

I have heard nothing but good things about the product, but you really
have come off as a real A-hole here.
(an outsiders view of this thread). I would love to have a good wheel
but I refuse to business with someone, who should I have a complaint,
reacts with name calling and abusive language.

TSW out!!

by Preferred Custome » Sat, 07 Jun 1997 04:00:00

You are missing the WHOLE point of my post.  My point was I wouldn't have
cared if it wasn't ready until June, but to tell me it was on it's way
every 2 weeks for a month was totally irresponsible, and unprofessional.
That's why I was so pissed.   I was told in a e-mail sunday 5-25 and 5-26
that Trevor would be sending out my wheel on tuesday.  (Monday being the
holiday)  He said he would send it 2 day.  I asked FRIDAY what was up and
he called me a complainer and that he never made those claims.  Well I HAVE
the emails to prove it!!!   I didn't like being shafted like that.
That was my point.  I don't care how damn good you guys say the TSW is.
With customer relations like that, I'll go somewhere else.  I was only
posting this to let others know of my experience, because I wouldn't want
them to go through the same thing as I did.

TSW out!!

Terry,

Not to defend, uphold or in any way become involved in what has gone
before, considered purely as a product the TSW is too good to miss. I have
owned one for about three years now and "repair" is never something that
has needed consideration - it will last longer than my house will. When I
have discussed updates, suggestions or even criticisms of some aspect of
the TSW or the business, I've found Trevor to be open, honest and genuinely
wanting to help.

We had an incident here in the UK where a footballer player attacked a fan
during a game - the fan was shouting racist abuse at him as he was leaving
the field. The player was of course slain by the media, "He should set an
example" etc. Why? Just because someone is in the public eye doesn't give
people the right to throw abuse at them. Some may justifiably call Trevor's
response into question, but the other half of the argument have to be
chastised in the same manner.

Anyway, all morals aside I hope you don't close yourself off to the
delights of a TSW, you really would be missing out. I am one of the few who
HAS tried many of the wheels available, including the ECCI-CDS which I
liked a lot. If you feel any qualms about paying the high price for the
ECCI, the TSW gives you all the quality for much less money. All you lose
is the looks - the ECCI-CDS is prettier, although I have heard it described
as "a huge tin of baked beans"! Mark Fraser hold your hand up...!! :-)

John,

Thanks for the reply. The product is not the issue here. I have used the
TSW and liked it. Many of my friends own the TSW and, for the most part,
have nothing bad to say about it.

Cheers!

Terry
