Warm-up Laps in IndyCar

Hi!
Does anyone know of any way to get more warm-up
laps at the start of a race.  You just get less than
one time around and than the green flag drops.
If I am not mistaken, in real IndyCar racing, they
get 3 or more laps before the start.  It would be
very helpful, or any suggestions on how to warm up
your tires real fast in that lap.
Thanks!

You cannot adjust the amount of pace laps before the start.
You really cannot get to racing temps on the pace lap either.
Just wait it out for a few laps. At 100% opposition, you will
usually do very well against the computer cars anyway. A
good example is Arizona. The computer cars just cannot keep
up at 100%. All you need is the FAST setup. But, passing *ALL
OF THOSE CARS* is not easy. So you have an advantage to a point.
I suggest patience. I'll doubt that you can blast thru the
field anyway.

I believe in Michigan, it appears that the computer opponants
have a real advantage at the start. Which they wouldn't have
if you had warm tires. Just don't panic when they pass you.
Use patience and re-pass them after you are up to racing temps.
